We started the 2024 season with the first painting of Jyrki Puttonen's newly completed detached house. The aim was to give the new building a finished and elegant look, while providing a durable protection for the façade for years to come.
Although the site was new, we performed a light mould cleaning on the wooden surfaces to remove dust and dirt from the construction period from the painted surface. This preparatory step was essential to ensure optimal adhesion and a smooth finish.
The painting was carried out in a considered manner, using high-quality products suitable for the site.
The horizontal planking surfaces of the house were painted twice with Teknos Nordica Classic, a top quality exterior paint known for its excellent weather resistance. The vertical boards, which had already been treated once, were treated with Teknos Woodex Premium, which enhances the natural grain pattern of the wood and gives it a deep, durable protection.
The finished result completed the look of the house and will provide the Puttonen family with carefree living under the protection of a durable and well-maintained façade for decades to come.
